Holy Week and Easter
Sunday, March 25 is Palm/Passion Sunday. After commemorating Jesus’ triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, we will hear the Passion story from the Gospel of Mark read in its entirety.
Maundy Thursday will offer a service allowing individuals to explore several stations of prayer and action related to Christ’s last week on earth, culminating in a service of Holy Communion. Footwashing and the prayer wall are among the worship stations that will be available.
Good Friday features a service of meditations, music, and movement on the traditional Seven Last Words of Christ. The Celebration Singers, Mary LKatherine Beshears, and guest musician Leandra Lott will be leading us.
Easter Sunday worship celebrations, beginning with a 6:30 sunrise service, Dr. Robert Ratcliff preaching, and worship services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00, with Dr. LeNoir Culbertson, preaching.
