Young Adults

The Young Adult Ministry is a diverse group of people – some single, some married, and some parents of small children – in our 20s to mid 30s. Although diverse, we are bound together by our desire to grow both closer to God and closer to one another in the group. We meet for Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in room 108 with lessons led by a member of our class on a rotating basis. The focus is on Scripture and how to apply it to our everyday lives. Our class also has a variety of fellowship opportunities that can be found in our church bulletin and newsletter. We meet for lunch, called the Lunch Bunch, after the 11:00 am service on the third Sunday of each month. Fourth Friday Fun, on the fourth Friday of each month, is an evening opportunity to gather together for anything from a game night to an evening at Arrington Vineyard to a ghost tour to anything in between. We also join together for mission opportunities in the community as they arise. We are an open group and love having others join with us in any of our activities! Sunday School is in Room 108 on Sundays from 9:45 to 10:45. During the spring, we are doing Financial Peace University together. It is a 13-week, video-based study about finances and faith…cost is $100 – please talk to John Hill if the cost is an issue for you. The first session was February 5, but it’s not too late to join.

We will be providing dinner for Room in the Inn on Thursday, March 8th.

Our next Lunch Bunch is March 18. We will be eating at Sportsman’s Lodge at 1640 Westgate Circle in Brentwood after the 11:00 service.
